Blackboard - Online Courses

Instructions on How to Log in to your Blackboard Course

• Your Blackboard Username is the part of your EOU email address before the @. For example, with an email address of student@eou.edu the Blackboard user name would be student.
• Your default password is your birthday in this form: YYMMDD with YY as the last two digits of your year of birth. For example, a birth date of May 12, 1982 would appear as:  820512
• If you have lost your password or want to change a password, you can create it here.
  

Your Account

If you are a registered student or instructor of record, you do not need to request an account; one has been created for you automatically. New student accounts in Blackboard are created approximately 2 weeks before the start of the term. Course "shells" will be automatically created for all courses listed in the Banner student information system. Students will be enrolled and dropped automatically in these courses, according to their enrollments in Banner.

Please see the Blackboard Policies link below for more information. Courses are made available by the instructors. Not all courses will use Blackboard. Those that do will generally not be available until the first day of the term.
