Media Arts Computer Lab

The Media Arts program at Eastern Oregon University is equipped with one of the most advanced Mac labs in the state of Oregon. We have 30 dual processor Apple Macintosh G5 computers with 2 gig of RAM and 20" flat panel displays. Video equipment is never hard to check out and is always available through our Media Loan Library.
  Each G5 Mac has professional software packages installed:  
  • Adobe Creative Suite 2 which includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
  • Macromedia Flash, Freehand, and Dreamweaver
  • Quark Express
  • SketchUp, Blender, and Carrara for 3D animation
  • Apple Final Cut Pro Professional which includes DVD Studio Pro, Soundtrack Pro, and Compressor
  • Apple Logic for MIDI and multitrack audio recording. Learn to record!

  • 2 Panasonic HVX-200 P2 High definition video camera packages complete with professional tripods
  • 10 Canon HV-20 HDV camera packages
  • 15 Panasonic high resolution digital still cameras with Leica lenses
  • 8 Sony MD-HD RZ-10 digital audio recorders for location sound recording with shotgun microphones.
  • 2 Mole Richardson lighting kits
