KEOL is a student managed and operated radio station that is funded by student fees and offers a "free-form" programming format. Any student, faculty, or staff member may become a D.J. for KEOL by successfully completing the FM Broadcasting 1 Class offered through INTACT. KEOL broadcasts a wide variety of music styles and programs based on the individual D.J.'s interests.

KEOL-FM also has four paid student positions:

• Station Manager
• Program Director
• News/Promotions Director
• Underwriting Director
